From Yokohama City, Kanagawa PrefectureEncountering beatboxing at the age of 11, YAMORI began performing in earnest at 15.In November 2024, he captured first place in the TAG-TEAM category at the world beatbox competition “Grand Beatbox Battle” as part of the duo “Jairo” with John-T, earning high praise and attracting attention both in Japan and overseas.With a distinctive voice that is both gentle and powerful, YAMORI naturally weaves his roots in beatboxing into his music, delivering songs in a unique style that has earned him recognition as a “Human beat singer”.He debuted as a singer-songwriter in 2021 with the release of his first single “Tamamushi-iro.”After collaborating with artists such as RUNG HYANG and Taichi Mukai, he released his first EP “Human” in May 2023.His music blends lyrics that leave just the right amount of space for listeners’ imaginations with his own sound production, creating pop songs that are fresh, free- spirited, and far from ordinary.
