Somewhere among Brooklyn’s slurry of slayers, WifeKnife emerged in the spring of 2022. Sarah Hamilton’s vocals cradle then convulse the crowd, her lyrics poetic and evocative. This combined with sludgy metal/grunge-influenced riffs and hard-hitting yet danceable drum beats, makes for an experience and sound that melts faces and defies expectations.
