Trap Sushi

Trap Sushi is an Atlanta-born cultural movement at the intersection of anime, and hip-hop. Founded by Troop Brand, the brand grew from a 50-person underground event in 2022 to over 5000 attendees in 2025, internationally recognized showcases across the U.S. and Tokyo, and partnerships spanning Adult Swim, UTA, Netflix, Coca-Cola, Toonami, Warner Bros & Crunchyroll. The group's three voices, Troop Brand, Kiko Blac, and Keats, each bring a distinct lane to the sound. Troop a former songwriting for Atlantic Records with placements on Netflix, Disney Plus, and MTV blends hip-hop, R&B, and soul. Kiko Blac, Baltimore-bred and Atlanta-based, built her following through anime-influenced rap, with her viral "Bunny Girl Senpai Freestyle" surpassing one million streams. Keats known for his content, breakout "Best Anime Rap Ever" and the 2025 KONNICHIWA EP, blends lyrical hip-hop with deep anime references. Together they released Atlanime, Vol. 1 and headlined Atlanime Fest at Center Parc Stadium alongside Waka Flocka Flame, TiaCorine, Duke Deuce, Travis Porter, and DRAM. Their SXSW performance is the next stage of a movement redefining anime culture globally.
