Trading her small-town roots for Brooklyn’s bustling music scene, mer set out to carve her niche and make authentic art in many forms, which comes through in her singular and introspective music characterized by evocative, lyrical intimacy underscored by fresh production. mer marcum is currently gearing up to release her debut EP, You Never Did Anything Wrong, on May 1, which kicked off with the single, “Body (ft. Jia*),” earlier this year, and amassed over 250k streams in the first month. Last year, she supported Hollis Howard, Hudson Freeman, and Deloyd Elze. Most recently, she opened for Devon Again’s sold-out NYC show and will be opening for Darryl Rahn in March.
