Lexaay

Lexaay is a Springfield, MO–born, Dallas-based pop/R&B singer, songwriter, dancer, and creative director crafting genre-blending music rooted in classic R&B, funk, and early-2000s pop. A movement-first artist, she develops each song with choreography in mind—allowing ideas to travel from brain to body before they reach the stage. The result is cinematic, high-concept performance work merging storytelling, dance, fashion, and bold visual direction. She released her debut EP Wild, But True in 2020, introducing audiences to her emotionally honest songwriting and performance-driven artistry. Since then, Lexaay has quickly emerged as one of the region’s most promising live performers, known for immersive showcases that blur the line between concert, dance production, and theatrical experience. Her work explores self-definition, desire, softness, and emotional complexity, presenting a multidimensional modern twenty-something perspective—bold, nostalgic, playful, spiritual, messy, and self-aware.
