Her debut “deeply soulful” (LA Times) album, 'In Whose Eyes' , arriving spring 2026, features Christian McBride, Braxton Cook, Larry Goldings, Anthony Wilson, and more, and is co-produced by Sage and Larry Klein. Recent festival performances include Burning Man and BottleRock. Raised on Odonata, an animal rescue and nature preserve, her mantra, “We are nature, and the more we sever ourselves, the more we harm,” is central to her creativity. She began performing, acting, and writing at age ten, was mentored early on by Les Paul, and went on to earn a master’s degree in Production and Contemporary Performance from Berklee. A passionate storyteller, Sage published the poetry/prose collection 'The Taste of Pomegranate Seeds' and is also dedicated to journalism, with several published articles covering music, culture, and wellness.
