Nominated for the Latin Grammy in 2024 with her debut album “Amaríssima”, Melly has been establishing herself in a fresh Brazilian music scene. She was born in Salvador, Bahia, the blackest city in Brazil and important cultural hub in the country. With a unique musical DNA, Melly is 24 years old and has been singing since was 6. She also works as composer and producer, and her music mixes a pop sound with R&B and afro-brazilian rhythms, such as Ijexá. Recognized at awards such as Prêmio Multishow (Best New Artist in 2023) and Woman’s Music Event, as Songwriter of the Year in 2024. In her promisingmusical journey, she has already collaborated with major names in music such as Anitta, Liniker, BK, BaianaSystem and Russo Passapusso. In Brazil, is part of the most relevant music festivals’ line-ups. Last year, she also did her first concerts abroad: in Austin (Texas, EUA), at SXSW, NYC and toured Europe (Portugal, Spain and Ireland). Now, she's preparing her new album release.
