Mega Ran

Mega Ran

Mega Ran (Raheem Jarbo) is a GRAMMY-nominated rapper, author, and former middle school teacher whose career proves hip-hop has no boundaries. A pioneer of nerdcore, he blends sharp lyricism with education, storytelling, and pop culture — drawing inspiration from video games, comics, and professional wrestling. His music has been licensed by Capcom and featured in major video games (Mortal Kombat 11, TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge), television (WWE, AEW), and film (Clerks III). He’s toured internationally, performed at Madison Square Garden, and he's produced an EMMY winning musical. In 2022, becoming a foster parent inspired Mega Ran to expand into family music. His children’s albums Buddy’s Magic Toy Box and Buddy’s Magic Tree House topped Billboard and iTunes charts, earned major playlist support, and led to a GRAMMY nomination for Best Children’s Album. Known for high-energy, all-ages performances, Mega Ran is just as comfortable rocking libraries and museums as he is festivals and wrestling rings. Living up to his “Teacher / Rapper / Hero” mantra, his mission remains simple: entertain, educate, and create spaces where everyone feels welcome.
