Jason Cuellar

Jason Cuellar is an Austin based DJ, guitarist, producer, and founder of Texas Gold Records. He blends Cumbia, Tejano, Latin, and Texas roots music to create high energy cultural experiences that connect generations and communities. Jason performs during SXSW and produces large scale events at venues including Hotel Vegas, The Far Out Lounge, and Mexic-Arte Museum, drawing 300 to 600 attendees per show. In 2023, he launched the Unidos Por Música series with support from the City of Austin Live Music Fund, spotlighting Latino artists and multidisciplinary creators. He has also served as a grant reviewer within Austin’s cultural funding ecosystem, giving him insight into artist sustainability and community impact. For SXSW 2026, Jason is producing and DJing Austin’s biggest Cumbia Showcase at Hotel Vegas. He is actively seeking brand and community partners aligned with Austin’s Latino music movement.
