Hrishikesh Hirway is a singer/songwriter, podcast creator, and composer. He’s the host, creator, and executive producer of Song Exploder, an award-winning podcast Netflix original series. As a composer, he has written and recorded original scores for movies and television, including the thriller Companion from New Line Cinema, the Netflix television series Everything Sucks!, the Sundance rom-com Save the Date. Hrishikesh's new album, In the Last Hour of Light, is a memoir about letting go — of people, of memories, of the desire to stop time from moving too fast. The album is set for release on Keeled Scales on April 24. The album was recorded live by producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker), at his studio in Brooklyn, Sugar Mountain. With featured guest vocals from Iron & Wine, Fenne Lily, Ken Pomeroy, and Uwade; and contributions from Jay Som, Palehound, Daniel Hart (St. Vincent), Zosha Warpeha (L'Rain), and Dustin O'Halloran.
