Cha’Keeta B is a lyrical emcee from Austin, Texas, known for delivering rap with substance and intention. Influenced by a wide range of artists and genres, her first love has always been writing, drawing inspiration from poets and artists like Jill Scott. Since 2011, she has released two mixtapes and two EPs, been featured on the “Coast 2 Coast Hottest in Texas” mixtape, and performed multiple times as an official artist at South by Southwest. She has opened for renowned acts including Slim Thug, Naughty By Nature, Tink, Wu-Tang Clan, Oshun, and Z-Ro, among others. Beyond music, Cha’Keeta B is committed to community impact. She founded the Christmas charity initiative “Rap 4 A Reason,” collecting gifts for underprivileged children in East Austin. She is also the creator of the annual “Kinky Curly Coily Fest,” a natural hair festival celebrating Black women, men, and children, while creating opportunities for artists and small businesses to thrive.
